Collections and sharing

A collection is a set of journeys that run together and share one report. You can share that report with people outside EkLine through a link or a PDF.

  • Journeys in the app sidebar. See the Journeys overview.
  • Any member of your organization can create, run and share collections.
  • At least one published journey. A journey is published once it has run with at least one finished answer. See Create a research journey.
  1. Open Journeys and click the Collections tab.

  2. Click New collection.

  3. Enter a Name (up to 100 characters) and, optionally, a Description.

  4. Under Journeys, select between 1 and 50 published journeys. Use Search journeys to find them. A journey can be in more than one collection.

  5. Click Create collection.

  1. Open the collection and click Run collection.

Each journey runs with its own agents, models and number of runs. The sentence next to the button says how many answers one run collects.

  2. Wait for the answers. The report page says “This run is still collecting answers” until every answer is in, or until an hour passes with no new answer; then the report uses the answers collected so far and says how many are missing.

A collection runs one run at a time. If some journeys could not start, the page says how many; click Run collection again to retry only those.

  1. On the collection page, under Reports, click Latest report, or Open on an earlier one.

  2. Click Share. The button appears once the report is complete.

  3. Click Create link, then click the copy icon next to the link.

The report groups buyer questions by outcome, counting answers across every assistant.

OutcomeShare of graded answers that passed
You win80% or more
SplitMore than 20% and less than 80%
You lose20% or fewer
No resultNo answer could be graded

What counts as passed depends on the question’s checks; see How results are measured. The first run is the collection’s baseline, and later reports compare each question with it; see Track results over time.

If your organization has set up its free report, it has a collection named Buyer questions, whose report is the Buyer questions report. It works like any other collection, except:

  • Its journeys are fixed: you cannot add or remove them. You can still change a question’s wording with the pencil next to it.
  • It cannot be deleted.
  • Before its first run, its button reads Run my free report.
  • Anyone with the link can see the report without signing in. The link has the form /r/ followed by a random token.
  • The link does not expire. Stop sharing turns off every link to that report; sharing again creates a new link.
  • The page asks search engines not to index it.
  • It shows less than the app: the top competitors only, two sites per kind of source, one cause and one failed answer per question, and no comparison with the first run. Hidden rows appear blurred. Its fix buttons start no session; like Get the full report, free, they ask the reader for a work email.
  • A reader can ask for the full report with a work email at your company’s domain. If your organization has claimed that domain, EkLine invites them to your organization as a Member. See Company Profile and Domains.

Click Download PDF on a report to save it through your browser’s print dialog. The button is not shown on small screens.

  • The collection appears on the Collections tab, and each of its journeys shows the collection’s name as a badge on the Journeys tab.
  • After a run, the collection page lists the report under Reports, with Baseline on the first one.
  • Your copied link opens the report in a private browser window without signing in.
