Company Profile and Domains

Company Profile is where you describe your company once: what it makes, how its names are spelled, who it writes for, who it competes with, and how it sounds. EkLine’s agents then write as your company instead of guessing.

  • Any member of your organization can edit Company Profile.

The fields appear in this order under Settings > Organization > Company Profile:

FieldWhat to put there
Company ProfileWhat your company does, its mission and background
Brand namesEach brand or product name as you write it, plus the variants to watch for, with commas between them
Documentation sitesThe URL of each site where you publish docs, with an optional label
Key FeaturesYour product’s main features
Audience (User Profiles)Who reads your docs and content
PersonasNamed readers, each with an optional note on what they are trying to do
CompetitorsYour main competitors, described in your own words
Competitor profilesEach competitor’s name, with an optional URL and aliases
Tone and VoiceHow your company sounds when it writes
Visual Style GuidelinesBrand colors and the look you want for images. See Visual style guidelines.
Additional ContextAnything else the agents should know

The large text fields hold up to 10,000 characters each. They are Company Profile, Key Features, Audience (User Profiles), Competitors, Tone and Voice, Visual Style Guidelines and Additional Context.

AgentWhen it reads Company Profile
Marketing AgentEvery session. It reads the profile before it drafts anything.
Docs AgentOnly when company context is on for your organization. To check or change this, contact support@ekline.io.

Both agents read the profile when a session starts. A change applies to the next session you start.

If Tone and Voice is empty, the Marketing Agent says it has no company voice on file. Before it drafts, it asks you three things: who the audience is, what tone you want, and one sentence about the product. In chat, the Marketing Agent may call this page Company Info, and its brief form calls it Company profile. They are the same page.

Journeys also uses three fields. It finds your Brand names and Competitor profiles in AI answers. It uses your Documentation sites to spot your own pages among the sources an answer cites.

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > Company Profile.

  2. Fill in the fields that apply to you. For the Marketing Agent, fill in Tone and Voice and Brand names. With its custom instructions, they set the tone and the names in its drafts.

  3. Add a row for each brand name, documentation site, persona or competitor with Add brand name, Add documentation site, Add persona or Add competitor.

  4. Click Save Changes. The message Company profile saved successfully confirms the save. If a field is too long or a row has an error, the page marks the field and shows Fix the highlighted fields before saving.

  1. Open the Marketing Agent and start a new session.

  2. Select Blog post. If the brief form shows No company profile yet, neither Company Profile nor Tone and Voice has saved text. Once either has, the warning is gone.

  3. Ask for a short draft and check that it uses your product names and voice.

Settings > Organization > Domains lists the email domains your organization claims, such as acme.com. When someone signs up with a verified email at a claimed domain, sign-up offers to let them join your organization.

Domains is not agent context: no agent reads it. Only Owners and Admins see the tab. Anyone else who opens it sees Only Owners and Admins can manage domain claims.

If you don’t see Settings > Organization > Company Profile, contact support@ekline.io with your organization name.
